As much as Hangman cracks jokes about Maverick and wants to beat him in the air, what he REALLY wants is to please Maverick.

Going to try and fill this one.

Maverick can see so much of himself in Hangman.

It would be unnerving if Maverick had more shame.

As things stand, all Maverick really cares about at this moment is the very eager mouth around his cock, about the way Hangman’s eyes keep fluttering up to his face, full of need.

He would never have imagined the cockiest pilot he’d ever seen after himself openly seeking out validation from anybody but here they are, Hangman willingly on his knees and Maverick is making every effort to not just come right there and then, wanting to draw this out. He wants to see how far Hangman’s willing to go to prove whatever he’s trying to prove. Although Maverick can already tell that the person Hangman’s trying to prove something to is Hangman, that this is about something solely within the Lieutenant’s own psyche.

Maverick had, in actuality, tried not to take advantage. When Hangman had followed him into the bathroom stall of the club everyone was celebrating in post-mission, Maverick had resisted. He was too old for this shit, he was Hangman’s teacher, and he had in fact grown during the three decades since he’d been at TOPGUN.

Hangman, though, was so irresistibility pushy that Maverick couldn’t help himself, so despite at least trying to display some sort of decorum befitting of a man his age, he’s still wound-up crowded into the bathroom stall, pants around his ankles and a hand cupped around Hangman’s head, trying not to apply nearly as much pressure as he’d like.

Insistent fingers digging into Maverick’s thighs, like Hangman can tell Maverick’s attention has drifted a little and does not like that has Maverick growling out a curse. Hangman chuckles around Maverick’s cock and, Jesus, he’s so smug, and Maverick just sort of helplessly pets the pilot’s hair as his knees tremble pathetically.

“So good,” Maverick grits out, relenting finally as he gives Hangman what he knows the other pilot was seeking all along because he was Hangman once, a long time ago, and still is deep down and so he can’t help but feel a warmth when Hangman gazes up through his lashes again. Hangman’s dangerously handsome face is blissed out at the praise and Maverick can’t lie, it’s a worthwhile sight.

“Such a good boy,” continues Maverick, and it sounds beyond lame to his ears but Hangman just sighs happily like this is actually Heaven for him and takes Maverick even deeper.

Maverick can’t hold off any more and comes without warning, stifling the yell he wishes he could release. If Hangman has any complaint about Maverick spurting down his throat he doesn’t let it show, drinking everything down easily before stepping back and casually wiping his mouth on his hand while Maverick slowly comes back to himself.

Hangman cleans them both up, tucks Maverick back into his pants. He is smirking the whole time and he’s so fucking pretty, good God. Maverick pulls him into a kiss, hungry and bruising, tasting himself on Hangman’s mouth.

Hangman whimpers at that, finally caught off guard, and it’s a beautiful sound.

“Beautiful,” Maverick tells him, because dammit the kid has more than earned it.

He watches as Hangman’s eyes pool with want, and this is all so stupid and they could get caught at any moment but Maverick doesn’t give a fuck as he gets his hand down Hangman’s pants and into his boxers.

It’s quick, and Hangman comes with a low moan and a shudder right at the moment Maverick whispers the word “perfect” into his ear. As Hangman sags into Maverick’s body, boneless and sated, Maverick already knows this will be far from their only encounter.

(A/N This is a very quick and dirty fill, when I've got more time I'll see if I can clean it up and post it on ao3...I love this pairing, so I was so pleased to see this prompt!)

This is so great, anon! Mav 100% knows better, but here we all are. I love how reluctantly he starts out, and then just can't help giving Jake what he wants. The beat at the end where the kiss takes Jake off guard is perfect. Also super hot throughout, and I love your Mav pov.

If you do end up writing more, I would absolutely love to read more of this! We definitely need more of these two, and I'm so into these themes of Hangman seeking praise and validation (and most of all seeking it from himself) and Maverick seeing himself in Hangman.

That last line is perfection. As is the entire fill! But the last line was super perfection.
