In the early days of their relationship, they end up angrily fucking in the showers.

One of Maverick's many enemies decides to take revenge by going after Rooster. Maybe Mav's forced to watch, or sent a video. Both Mav & Rooster and Mav/Rooster great. Some recovery h/c also a bonus.

Inspired by their dialogue in Penny's bar:

Hangman: What do we have here? And here, I thought we were special.
Phoenix: Fellas, this here is Bagman.
Hangman: Hangman.
Phoenix: Whatever.

Where does Phoenix know Hangman from, and why does it lead to antagonism and taunting him? Can it be a UST situation? Can it be a hook-up?

Years before the movie - maybe when Rooster is at Top Gun? Or one of his first post-flight school station assignments? - he runs into Iceman at a bar or something somewhere in San Diego. They don't recognize each other until much later.

One of them gets a rush out of fucking around in places where they could be discovered.

As much as Hangman cracks jokes about Maverick and wants to beat him in the air, what he REALLY wants is to please Maverick.

They had a thing before the movie, that was going to be it, but Coyote's so relieved Phoenix made it back alive, that they make it a two-night stand, at minimum. Looking for hot and heavy thank god you're not dead sex.

Maverick fucking Rooster (or vice versa) up against the big photo wall in Mav's hanger with all the pictures of Goose.

Phoenix should shut up Hangman by sitting on his face.

Cain dressing down scene ends somewhat differently, with Cain taking out his anger on Maverick's balls.

After the first film, Maverick is punishing himself via increasingly intense kink, running hot and dangerous, pushing himself to the edge.

Maybe Iceman steps in to stop it, or decides to take over so that at least Mav won't damage himself beyond repair.

Rooster has certain needs.

Some of the other people in the unit start hazing/bullying Bob, presumably because he's the odd man out. Bob initially thinks he can handle it, and keeps it to himself, not wanting to look weak to the others, but eventually it gets out of control, and he has to go to Phoenix for help.

I'd prefer if Bob wasn't a total woobie, in that he's a military officer and a kick ass guy, but would like Phoenix being the strong comforting one.

Hangman tries his pushy power bottom act on Mav. It doesn't exactly work out but ultimately, he doesn't complain when Maverick rails him so beautifully.

Rooster always wanted to claim Maverick as his Omega but was always refused by the older man. After the mission he approaches Mav again, but after another rejection he decides to take matters in his own hands. He drugs Maverick to induce an early heat and claims him forcefully.
Bonus points if Rooster brings a set of leather cuffs and chains to restrain Mav
Double bonus points for Maverick trying to bite Rooster during a struggle and Rooster using a panel gag as punishment

AOB universe. Ice (Alpha) and Mav (Omega) serve together. During a mission they are shot down and captured. Their captors force Ice to watch as they molest and later gang rape Maverick to get information out of them. Ice later tries to comfort wounded and traumatised Mav.
May be an open ending or they are rescued/escape and Ice is there for Maverick through the recovery

At the encouragement of Carole, they all hook up. Maverick ends up kind of imprinting on them which would be a big oops if they did not love him so much anyway.

Phoenix takes the lead everywhere except the bedroom

Hangman is rounded on by some disgruntled people who feel he needs to be put in his place.

Rooster's still a bit sore about all the 'slow' jokes. Hangman makes another one, and it's the last straw- but since they're making an effort to get along now, punching him is out of the question. Instead, Rooster offers to demonstrate the pros of taking things slow. He's not expecting Hangman to agree, and Hangman probably isn't expecting what Rooster was actually offering, but now they're both too proud to back out.

Tl;dr Hangman gets edged until he's begging for mercy and Rooster gets to feel incredibly smug for once.
